Passport Information Your passport must not expire for at least 6 months AFTER the date you return home from your trip. Also check how many blank passport pages are required by the countries you plan to visit; its usually 6 blank pages. UPDATE: As of March 2023, the passport office is advising that they are very behind in processing passports and to allow OVER 3 months to receive a new or renewed passport! Please note for my Tanzania Oct 2023 safari, your passport cannot expire before April 29, 2024.
Tanzania Visa Tanzania government website visa online application and info. Visas can also be acquired at the airport on arrival, but I strongly discourage this. Also, you would need to pay in cash and it may cause delays. You may find other TZ visa website services that charge handling fees.
