Dream. Go. Grow.
About Me
I am a retired Zoo Director from the Oglebay Good Zoo in West Virginia, with a lifelong career dedicated to wildlife conservation, education, and public engagement. I have led numerous African safaris and Galapagos tours and bring decades of hands-on experience in animal care, field conservation, and environmental interpretation. I have published numerous photographs and articles in Pennsylvania Farmer; Veterinary Technician; Wild,Wonderful West Virginia; and Llamas: The Camelid Journal magazines.
I am a Certified Arizona Master Naturalist, and I have served as an instructor in the Arizona and West Virginia naturalist programs. My work has extended into community leadership, including board service with the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society and the Pima County Master Naturalists.
Currently, I serve on conservation committees for Reid Park Zoo and the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society, and I am part of the jaguar camera team at the University of Arizona’s Wild Cat Conservation Center. I also contribute to public service as a role player, training recruits at the Tucson Police Department Academy.
